Supply Chain Policy
We take social responsibility for the environment and society very seriously and it is the focus of our actions. That's why we stand for "Sustainable Gold". This means that the mining of precious metals is checked and documented with regard to ethically correct framework conditions.
We work exclusively with state mints and recognized international refiners that are certified according to the LBMA standard. A high quality and authenticity of the products we offer is therefore guaranteed.
We are committed to meeting the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 17, 2017 establishing supply chain due diligence obligations for Union importers of tin, tantalum, tungsten, their ores and gold from conflict-affected and high-risk areas and the standards defined in this context in Annex II of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance ("Due diligence guidelines for promoting responsible supply chains for minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas").
When purchasing precious metals, we pay particular attention to a transparent supply chain and responsible procurement of raw materials.
In this context, we would like to offer our customers the greatest possible information and security and take appropriate measures to prevent the financing of terrorist activities in connection with precious metal transactions and support international efforts to gain clarity about the procurement and origin of minerals.
We demand an assurance from our suppliers that they respect human rights and act in an ecologically responsible manner. In the event of violations, measures to contain and avoid risks are taken immediately. Depending on the risk assessment and the success of the measures taken, business relationships are suspended or, if necessary, terminated.
We fundamentally reject the procurement of precious metals from conflict or risk areas.
Our compliance department reports directly to the management. The department is always available to anyone who wishes to report violations of the Supply Chain Policy. In this case please contact us at [email protected]
